KINGSLEY-HALL, John Anthony Born: 1929 09 14 Died: 2017 09 07 Architect SACA: Reg No: 1845 Year registered: 1957 DipArch (Natal) In 1969 he was a partner in the firm MARSTON, HIRST, KINGSLEY-HALL & HAMILTON. Was listed as a member of Border Kei Institute of Architects in 2009. Was the President of the East London Local Committee of the Cape Province Institute of The Institute of South African Architects (Now BKIA) from 1974 to 1975. Notice from SAIA 2017 09 11: Dear SAIA Border Kei Members, It is with sadness that we were informed of the death of our longest-standing member, Mr John Kingsley-Hall, who passed away last Thursday. John was a SAIA member continuously from 18 July 1957 and only retired (officially) a year ago. A staggering 60 years of support of the Institute. The funeral service will take place at St Michael’s Anglican Church, Smartt Road, Nahoon, tomorrow (Tuesday) at 12h00. Our sincere condolences go to the family.
