In 1933 he joined the office of HANSON, TOMKIN and FINKELSTEIN, leaving to continue his studies at the University of Liverpool School of Architecture in 1934 from where he qualified; during this period he toured Europe in 1935 and Palestine in 1937. By 1938 he had returned to Johannesburg. He joined his father in partnership. P BREEDVELD, witness to HD Margo's application for associate membership of the RIBA, was a member of this partnership (cf. MARGO, BREEDVELD and MARGO). By 1959 BREEDVELD must have left because the practice was then MARGO and MARGO. ISAA 1937; ARIBA 1938.
