Jeremy GIBBERD did studies in the sciences at the University of Botswana. He completed both the bachelor of science and Masters degree in advanced architectural studies at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, London, UK, where he was awarded a Masters of Science degree in architecture. He trained and registered as an architect in the United Kingdom. He is member of the Architects Registration Board (United Kingdom) and the South African Council for the Architectural Profession. He has over ten years of experience in sustainable development as a consultant on policy, planning, design and management of infrastructure. As a researcher in Boutek, CSIR, he has developed specialist expertise and a wide knowledge of relevant legislation, technological developments and best practice within the areas of sustainable development, educational buildings, briefing and building performance analysis.
