He was in the employ of RHODES-HARRISON HOFFE AND PARTNERS. In 1968 he was in partnership with AB FAURE (cf LESLIE LOUW & FOURE), their address was listed as Santam Building, Burg Street, Cape Town.

He was Vice-President-in-Chief of the Institute of South African Architects in 1965-66 and President-in-Chief in 1966-67.
