Menu Home Upfront Now Up Books Towns Structures People Firms Lexicon TJASINK, Hendrik Born: 1863 07 03 Died: 1960 05 23 Architect Born in Amsterdam, North Holland, the Netherlands of father Hendrik Tjasink (1836–?) and his wife Anna Catharina Barnsteen (1840–1929). Rex (1974: 375) records him as being in the architectural service of the ZAR PWD. He married Magrietha Geertruida Wynanda Coquelin (1875–1955) in Johannesburg, Transvaal on 1896 05 19 by whom he had five children, Lawrence Edward Tjasink (1897–1943), Rudolph Ernest Tjasink (1900–1925), Joost Hubert Tjasink (1905–1989), Henri Anne (1909–1983), Gracie Maud (1914–1998).
