Having matriculated from the Swartland High School, Malmesbury, Paul went on to study architecture at the University of Pretoria where, in 1997, he received the Corobrick Award. While studying he did part-time work for various architects including ‘Ora JOUBERT, KWP ARCHITECTS and SMIT & FISHER ARCHITECTS, all in Pretoria as well as DENNIS MOSS PARTNERSHIP in Stellenbosch. After qualifying he worked at DHK ARCHITECTS in Cape town and then BOOGERTMAN + PARTNERS in Pretoria. From 2002 to 2006 he worked as a private practitioner doing conceptual design and perspective drawings for various firms. In 2006 he joined URBAN CONCEPT ARCHITECTS in Pretoria and is currently [2015] studying towards his MArch (Research) under Prof Roger FISHER at the University of Pretoria. |
