It is possible that this practitioner is of Dutch decent. In 1959 his address is recorded as being with the SA Bureau of Standards, Pretoria so it can be assumed he was in their employ. In 1969 as being a salaried member of the TPIA in the employ of the National Building Research Institute (NBRI) of the CSIR. His address in 1959 and 1969 is given as 691 Wilhelmina Avenue, Waterkloof Ridge, Pretoria His memorial plaque is in the Olievenhoutbosch cemetery, Centurion, Pretoria.
