Architect

DipArch (NZ), ISAA,TIA.

New Zealand trained architect who relocated to South Africa in the 1950s, acquiring House Dr AJ Orenstein which he bought in 1957 and proceeded to modify into a romanticised Italianate villa he renamed Villa d'Este. In 1969 he is recorded as of this address, namely, 82 Jan Smuts Avenue, Johannesburg. He remained here until 1993 when he sold the property to a firm of interior designers.

He hosted Dame Jane DREW here on the occasions of her visits to Johannesburg.
