In 1959 he is recorded of his own account of address 123 Boston House, Strand street, Cape Town, Cape Province. In 1969 was a principal and in the practice FRANS TE WATER, HUSSEY and VAN RENSBERG of address 720 Pearl Assurance Building, Heerengracht, Cape Town, Cape Province.

Greig (1971: 221) ascribes Suurbraak Primary School to him.

He was listed in the staff registers of the University of Cape Town as a lecturer from 1960 to 1970
