Registered as an employed architect in 1959 in the Standard Bank, Adderley Street, Cape Town. By 1961 he worked in the office of Jack BARNETT with whom he was detained on 10 April 1960 along with Naomi Barnett (Jack's wife) and Gerald GOLDMAN, architect also in the employ of BARNETT's practice, in terms of the State of Emergency. He spent nine weeks in Roeland Street Gaol and Worcester prison. He does not appear in the 1969 register of architects.
