Angela Buckland is an independent photographer based in Durban who does commercial, editorial commissioned, and her own personal work. Being an artist doesn’t, however, prevent her from moving easily between deeply personal work and commercial commissions. When working with clients, she tailors her photography to suit their visual requirements and works in a different, carefully calculated way. Angela Buckland has participated in numerous group exhibitions and her photographs are held in public and private collections locally and internationally. She is the recipient of awards including the Emma Smith Overseas Scholarship and was a nominee for the DaimlerChrysler for South African Creative Photography.
