William Gibbs was another son of the architect AH GIBBS, father and son both being resident in Johannesburg when he registered with the Institute of South African Architects in 1927. Nothing is currently known about his training. He appears to have been wounded during the Second World War since he was a military pensioner and died in the military hospital at Voortrekkerhoogte (Roberts Heights) in Pretoria. ISAA 1927.
