Mike Volckman went to school at Kearsney College in Natal. He enrolled at the University of the Witwatersrand in 1964 to study Architecture and graduated in 1970. His father was Prof O Volckman of the Chemical Engineering faculty at Wits at the time. Mike was employed in the recent past by Osmond Lange Architects in their East London and Durban offices and was a specialist hospital planner - until his retirement. He passed away on Sunday 18 April 2021 in East London. | ||
