Maiden name FOUCHÉ.
In 1984 Lydia did her architectural training with GUILLUM-SCOTT and ASSOCIATES in Port Elizabeth. She started working for OSMOND LANGE ARCHITECTS and PLANNERS in their King William’s Town (Qonce) office in 1985 and in 1990 she moved to Stellenbosch where she worked set up practice as LYDIA FOUCHÉ ARCHITECT. In 1998 she moved to Windhoek where she worked for LEON BARNARD ARCHITECTS INC and then KERRY McNAMARA ARCHITECTS. She started her own practice, LYDIA SCHRÖDER ARCHITECT, in Windhoek in 2003 and then in 2012 started her second practice, SCHRÖDER MAIN ARCHITECTS. |
