![]() This stained-glass window by Stephanie Fassler was originally commissioned for the opening of the Everard Read gallery in Rosebank. It was bought by Jack Sturroch and slightly extended to fit the rose window in Christ Church Constantia. It is made of a double layer of glass. On the clear base plate that has lead painted lines are mounted the butterflies that form a 3d truss. Their bodies are attached to the base plate, the wings form a triangular truss and the wing are attached to one another at their tips. Submitted by Mira FASSLER KAMSTRA Photographer: Unidentified |
