Was W Irving Building.

Rennie 1978 lists it as no 7 Corporation Street, but both no's 5 and 7 are clearly visible on the photographs above each one of the doors.

The building is currently (2012) offices and is very well looked after.

It housed Carl Herrmann & Company for many years.

The company that used to occupy it was started by my grandfather and was later owned and run by my father.

I am the third in the line of the Carl Herrmann’s of Cape Town. The building was sold when my father passed away in 1983.
