Ascribed to the architects who were in the OFS DPW at the time. Typical of the Free State sandstone tradition under corrugated iron, originally symmetrical with the central courtroom on a battered base defined by a heavy stringcourse line.
The building has recently been adaptively re-used with the insertion of a pair of freestanding radio broadcasting studios - for Setsoto FM - into the courtroom.
