Ds. D.J. Le R. Marchand van die NG gemeente Prins Albert, het die hoeksteen op 7 Junie 1922 gelê. Sedert die bou van die nuwe kerk gebruik die gemeente dit as 'n saal. (Morné van Rooyen) Rev. D.J. Le R. Marchand of the Prins Albert DR congregation, laid the cornerstone on 7 June 1922. Since the new church was built the congregation use it as a hall.
