Op 27 September 1941 is 'n begin gemaak met die bou van 'n kerk en op 6 Desember van dieselfde jaar lê ds. De Beer die hoeksteen. Groot was die belangstelling toe die kerkgebou op 3 Mei 1942 ingewy is. Dit het £7 200 gekos. (Morné van Rooyen - 2-15) On 27 September 1941 a start was made on the building of the church and on 6 December of the same year ds. De Beer laid the cornerstone. The excitement was great when the church was inaugurated on 3 May 1942. It cost £7 200.
