Die vorige NG kerk Fauresmith is in Julie 1860 ingewy, maar toe nog sonder 'n toring. Die toring is eers in 1875 voltooi. Dis omstreeks 1960 gesloop om plek te maak vir 'n kerk in die tentstyl. (Morné van Rooyen) The first NG church in Fauresmith was inaugurated in July 1860, but without a tower. The tower was only completed in 1875. It was demolished around 1960 to make place for an A-framed church built in 1962.
