House Leo Kramer
Bloemfontein, Free State

HARRISON and FYVIE: Architect

Cumming-George 1933

THIS is an extremely well-planned house with its entrance hall at the side leaving the pillared stoep private to the garden. The big lounge and dining room, which may be made one by the handsome folding doors, has fireplaces at each end, both of which are very well placed.

The staircase is also in a very good position in the entrance hall, and on the upper floor the big sleeping porch is open to all but controlled by no particular bedroom. The large front balcony is, however, entered from the three front bedrooms. Most of the bedrooms have the convenience of a fireplace.
