Simple hall church of rough-hewn local sandstone ashlar with add-on portico, apse and side entrance all under corrugated iron roof with small dormer ventilators.

The foundation stone was laid on 13 January 1895. The name WJ Bennett also appears on the stone, further information about him not legible (see photo).
