The hall of the Nederduitse Gereformeerde Kerk next door. The original hall had a large conifer behind and in 2015 this was struck by lightning and burst into flames. The fire brigade was quickly on the scene and managed to put the fire out and everybody left. Unbeknown to them, coals from the fire had got in below the roof of the hall and the building burnt down. The new building was built to look very similar to the original but the hall had been under-insured and so budget restraints prevented an exact replica. From the street most people would not realise the difference but the interior is much smaller and there is no stage.
