De Papenboom, Dirk van Reenen se woning in Nuweland gegrond op Petit Trianon by Versailles, was een van Thibault se eerste ontwerpe aan die Kaap. Dit het in die 1830's afgebrand. (Morné van Rooyen) De Papenboom, Dirk van Reenen's home in Newlands based on Petit Trianon at Versailles, was one of Thibault's first designs at the Cape. It burnt down in the 1830's.
