In October 1904 the stand was transferred into the name of Wilhelm Ferdinand Phillip Alexander Stein. Stein rented the business to Martin Jones Wilson who operated as a booking agent for the Zeederberg Coach Company in Pilgrim's Rest until 1910. After 1910 John Alcock rented the building from Stein and it was utilised as a store until 1919. In 1919 Gentile Beretta, one of the four Beretta brothers who came to Pilgrim's Rest from Piedmont in Italy, leased the stand from the TGME [Transvaal Gold Mining Estates] and he erected the present brick building. Beretta submitted plans for a double storey brick building, but changed his plans afterwards to a single story building. In 1924 Beretta sold the business to Meyer Lewis, a well-known Jewish shop owner in Pilgrim's Rest. The lease was transferred into the name of George Lewis in 1935. In 1946 the lease of the stand was transferred into the name of Tana Feldman, the wife of Solomon Feldman and the building was utilized as nursery school, music rooms and watchmaker shop. In 1968 Tana Feldman leased the building to the Gold Digger's Investments (Pty) Ltd. company of June Guest who then opened the Royal Hotel Bottle Store on the premises. This building was utilised as such until 1998 after which it became a business unconnected to the Royal Hotel. (Rene Reinders. 2016:Item 23.
