Click to view map Coordinates: | The memorial comprises a large tapered pylon constructed of stone pebbles of different sizes, laid in mortar. The rounded shapes of the pebbles form an interesting textured surface finish. The pylon has a square base formed of a low plastered plinth. The pylon is capped with a narrow plastered block, projecting slightly beyond the surface of the memorial to form a distinct shadow line. The front face of the memorial is further elaborated with a smooth panel in the upper third, with the following inscription incised into the plaster: GEDENKTEKEN An English translation of the inscription is provided below: MEMORIAL Directly below the inscribed panel is a smaller rectangular plastered panel with a carved depiction of an ox- wagon.
