The church was re-opened on 23 November, in 1968. To mark the occasion, a stone was unveiled by the Rev and Mrs D.K. Goodenough. The building was erected in 1904, foundation stones having been laid on 10 September 1904 by Messrs C.J. Cogle, J.P. Kent, T. Pratley, Mayor of Beaconsfield, and H.A. Oliver, Mayor of Kimberley.
