A former whaler's cottage. Built in 1879 by Mrs Jamison (nee Hidding) as a coachhouse and stables for 'Carisbrooke'. The next owner, Mr William Searle (1893) converted it into a home. Subsequent owners were William Pocock (1908), George William Forrest (1919) (who changed the name to Corriemar), Leah Cumes (1928), Gaisford Harrison (1936), his daughter Paddy Harrison (1953). Declared a National Monument in 1991.
