Sold in 1917 to AV Lindbergh (founder of CNA and Sunday Times). Two mirror-image interconnected buildings. One of four Sir Herbert Baker-designed houses in Atlantic Road. "Sandhills is currently one of four contiguous houses in Beach Road designed by Baker’s firm in the early 20th century. The other, similarly modest houses are called Rokeby, Crawford Lea and Swanbourne. Today, all four carefully restored and adapted buildings form part of the St Ledger Retirement Home."
