"There are no fewer than 40 apartments, and the attractions include two billiard tables, an up-to-date sample room for the use of commercial travellers, private and public bars, and accommodation for banqueting and private dinner parties. It may be added that there is a modern equipped ladies' and gent's hairdressing saloon in the building, which occupies a full block, and that an omnibus from the hotel meets all mail trains."
