Click to view large map Coordinates: | Calderwood Hall began as a small farmhouse built by the Jardine family, who emigrated from Scotland, before Joseph Jardine commissioned a larger Edwardian country manor in the Southern Drakensberg foothills. Construction on the manor, designed by a local architect named Stott, started in 1895 and was finished in 1902. Today, it functions as a guest house. |
