According to the c1902 survey on the City of Cape Town's online City Map (citymaps.capetown.gov.za/EGISViewer), and old directories, this house was originally named 'Merwela', and was later renamed 'Craigmore'. It was demolished c1951, and replaced with the present Craigmore flats and shops. (Arthur Radburn, July 2023)
