Alterations recorded in 1897 (Pryce Lewis list).

When Rennie inspected the building in Oct 1977, it was vacant. He noted: "Previously Gardens Pharmacy etc. Cast-iron ridge lettering LENNON LTD recently removed."

From at least 2009 - 2015 it had a travel bureau downstairs and a backpackers' lodge upstairs. In 2017 it had a coffee shop downstairs and a bar upstairs. Since c2022 it is a pizza restaurant (Google street view).
