First house built in Cullinan for the first general manager of the Premier Diamond Mine. Two of his daughters lived in the house when they came to Cullinan until 1984 when they died within a few days of each other, one was 94 the other 98. The mine then bought all of the furniture from the McHardy estate and it was turned into a museum. It boasts Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco and Art Nouveau furniture and othe items.
