St Monica's – once the residence of Bishop Chandler Modderpoort, Free State

This is located alongside the road from the Priory Church. Later it became a convent for sisters of the St. Michael's Sisterhood in Bloemfontein. When the sisters left in 1945 it reverted to being the guest house and later a home for Miss Wright when the school closed in 1955. It was rebuilt as the farm manager’s house.
