Basic format : painted brick facades, segmental arched openings, teak main doors, large pane sashes (ground level barred), brick cornices, parapets, arched louvred attic vents, pitched roofs, twin matching cast-iron rain water pipes, cobbled pavement entrance crossings. Interior : steel joists, timber floor beams, herring-bone strutting etc. Note : facades all slightly modified (74 best preserved). 74 : recent golden brown brick dado. 72 : large ground floor shop opening. 70-72 : painted applied facings, plasterwork (between ground and first).
