The Art Deco cinema building was constructed in the 1930s and is located at 102 Caledon Street. It has not been used as a cinema since the 1970s. After its closure it was converted into commercial premises and was most recently occupied by ABSA bank. In 2015 the bank vacated the property and it was offered for sale at auction.
