The Boston congregation amalgamated with Vredelust after which the tower was painted the colour seen in the photograph. It has since been painted white again. According to an article by Blanché de Vries published by Netwerk24.com on 19 February 2014 the church building was put up for sale at a price of R6 million. The church was sold, amount undisclosed, to the Seventh Day Adventists and converted into a youth centre. (Information supplied by Morné van Rooyen)
