Architect SACA: Reg No: 203 Year registered: 1927 TPIA (1927); ISAA (1927); MCQS. Lugg was a member of the Transvaal Provincial Institute of Architects in 1927 when his address was at the Town Hall, Pretoria. He seems also to have been a registered Quantity Surveyor at that time. By 1959 he is recorded as a retired member of the Transvaal Institute although of 'Devonia', Pennington, South Coast, Natal.
