The partnership between J TOOGOOD and F GOODE in Johannesburg from about 1896 to about 1903, first listed in the Longland's Johannesburg and South African Republic directory (1897), their address being given as Barnato Buildings, 88 Commissioner Street in Johannesburg. They were last listed (1903) at Goodman's Chambers, Commissioner St, Johannesburg. KEF GARDINER (SESA 7:224) claims that they were responsible for the Police Station, Marshall St, but this building dem 1969 has been documented as the work of S WIERDA (1899).
