| | WILSON, GeorgeBorn: fl. 1887 Died: 1899Architect |
According to a note in VT JONES's documentation, Jones worked for one George Wilson in Johannesburg in 1896. This may be the Wilson listed in partnership with WALLIS (cf WALLIS & WILSON) at Barnato's Buildings in the directory of 1887. Apparently Jones worked with this Wilson until Wilson died in 1899. Jones continued Wilson's practice in Johannesburg until he left South Africa during the Anglo-Boer War to return once the war was over.
