Formed by the amalgamation of STEENKAMP, HARRIS and PARTNERS with BOTHA, LĂ–TTER en VENNOTE in 1969 when they changed the name to INTERPLAN.
In 1991 they are recorded as having offices in Cape Town, Bellville and Port Elizabeth in the then Cape Province; in Pietermaritzburg, Natal; and in Verwoerdburg (now Centurion) and Johannesburg in the then Transvaal. At that time the Directors and principals are recorded as being DG STEENKAMP, JP BOTHA, HMA HARRIS, IJ MOUTON, CM VERMAAK, AJJ BURGER, HCA De VILLIERS, BD SUMMERTON, HJ WEBSTER, AJ MILLS, G MITCHEL, LM FRANSEN, GE JOHNSON, IK BARNARD, JR BLAIR and JP PIETERSE. Associates to the practice are recorded as SP Du TOIT, NC Dos Anjos, SANTOS, PH van COLLER and SK LEE.
INTERPLAN split into a number of practices countrywide in the early 1990s.
