Educated at King Edwards School for Boys. Studied architecture at Wits. Married Dorothea Becklake in 1948 by whom he had one son and four daughters. He was in partnership with Roy Nicol DENSEM, practising as PITT and DENSEM in Selby until 1961. Thereafter he served as Manager of Lewis Construction Properties Ltd. In 1965 he is recorded as Director of the same and other associated companies. Worked with Francis LORNE on Charter House, the joint headquarters of the British South African Company and the Anglo American Corporation in Salisbury (Harare). Books citing PITT ISAA. 1959.
