Nothing is currently recorded about Dembitzer's origins. On his return to South Africa he worked for a year (1933-1934) in WAR FALLON's office in Cape Town. After a period (1935-1937?) with PERRY & LIGHTFOOT he entered into partnership with H E TWENTYMAN JONES in 1937 (cf TWENTYMAN JONES & DEMBITZER). The partnership ended in 1941. By 1959 and again in 1969 he is recorded as a retired member of the CPIA being of 15 Arlington Court, Vlei Road Muizemberg.
