Was younger brother of Willem de Sanderes HENDRIKZ. Andre 'Hendrikz was recipient of EATON influences and parsimony. ... When Eaton died in 1966, some of [his Zanzibar] doors were bequeathed as legacies or acquired by architect colleagues. Hendrikz ... received two doors in this way ... (Chipkin 1993:296).

In 1959 his address was 7 Gregory Avenue, Melrose North, Johannesburg.
