Born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Studied at the Akademie vir Beeldende Kunste in Rotterdam and graduated in 1931. He emigrated to South Africa in 1937. In 1948 he did the special qualifying exam at Wits. In 1959 he was working for GEERS & GEERS, Hollandia House, President Street, Johannesburg. (Transvaal Inst. practicing. ISAA Yearbook, 1959). He joined LM GEERS and J KOELEWYN in partnership, styled GEERS, KOELEWYN and MOORS (A&B, Jan 1964:25) References ISAA. 1959.
