Specialised in painting and stained glass. Trained at the Liverpool School of Art and at the Royal College of Art, London. (S.A. woman's who's who, Johannesburg, 1938) 1926: Emigrated to South Africa. Shared a studio with fellow-student, Mary Stainbank, until her death. (Interviews with Miss Stainbank, October, December 1985)

VAUN-HALL (sic), Miss WILGEFORDE, A.R.C.A. Born at Leicester, England, and educated at "Seafield House," Great Crosby, Liverpool, England. A painter by profession, she studied at Liverpool School of Art and Royal College Of Art, London. Qualified as art mistress in Liverpool, gained Associate ship of R.C.A. in Design, 1924 and R.C.A. Scholarship for teaching diploma, with distinction, in 1926. Completed numerous important works in stained glass and mural paintings for public buildings. Exhibited successfully at the Royal Exhibition in Johannesburg. Favourite recreation is reading, Her address is Ezayo Studio, Coedmore, Bellair, Natal.
