Trained at the Durban School of Art, 1921-1924; holder of various scholarships for art and pottery, 1922-3 (Technical College, The Natal Mercury, 24 February 1922 p. 5; Natal Technical College, The Natal Mercury, 11 April 1923 p. 6). Co-founder of the Ceramic Studio. Worked there from December 1925 - 29 October 1926. Left the Studio to marry (1927 09 22) Reginald Cullinan (1899-1992), son of Sir Thomas Major Cullinan. Returned briefly in 1931 to work on fittings for "Sunlawns". (Diary) She designed and created the emblem executed as a stained glass window of the Modderfontein Local Council located in the Modderfontein Recreational Centre (Keith Martin via Kathy Munro - 2026).
