| (Heymans 1988) The house has some fine examples of work by the Ceramic Studio, including painted tiles in the kitchen and bathrooms (inserted as part of a larger tiled surface), tiled risers to the staircase and ceramic light switch plates. The relief panel on hood/mantlepiece over fireplace in Living Room (see above) was done by Audrey FRANK and the two arrangements of indigenous flowers (on wall tiles) in the ground floor bathroom - at the east end of the house were by Joan METHLEY. The group of eight decorated tiles of physical exercises are in the First Floor Bathroom. The artist Mary STAINBANK was commissioned to create a clay sculpture of a young girl, holding a spray of flowers and kneeling down to look at a large frog. This sculpture was placed at the northern end of a large reflecting pond on axis of the north gable of the house. (See photograph above) There are the sculpted circular panels by Ceramic Studio of sailing boats inset into the gables. For interesting bricks that have been used in the paving see the Conrand Company. This house is still in the Cullinan family (2010).
