Having obtained a Master's degree in Architecture, she worked for studioMAS. During her time there she began focusing on Urban Design projects locally and in other countries in Africa. Her urban design experience includes, transit oriented design (TOD), new developments, sustainability, low/ medium/ high-end housing settlements, inner city development, urban theory, as well as ecological urbanism.
Heritage and Cultural landscapes, as well as Regenerative Architecture and Urban Resilience form the focus of her design tutoring and lecturing at the University of Pretoria (her alma mater). She has also written a number of articles and has been involved in documenting the development of a residential case study project called Stand 47 on a digital platform since.
